Can anyone recommend a good text to review statistics relevant to finance interviews?

Statistics and Data Analysis for Financial Engineering (Springer Texts in Statistics)

Ruppert's book is a full course in stats that he himself admitted is more than a semester worth of work. No one is going to ask you that sort of detail in an interview. You would be better off reading on the interview specific texts in the list of recommended books. You would more likely get probability questions not statistics ones.
