Which program is better interms of learning, placing students in trader, quant roles. As per linkedin Uminn mfm looks promising but as per quant net stony b is better ranked. Wanted to know your opinion

Not too familiar with either, but I know Minnesota is well regarded in the midwest. Minneapolis has US Bank and some other ops that UMinn would have a directly line to. Stony Brook would probably be better for NYC jobs

Hi doubleohseven, just felt stony brook qcf masters alumni are very low in number and not many are doing quant related work as per linkedin. Although University of Minnesota looks good with many students doing quant related work as per linkedin, the program is not well respected here in quant net also Univ of Minnesota's ave pay is way less in comparison due to its location. If you have any info related to his please do share.
