Hi I am currently in my first year of uni doing engineering and business. I want to do the quant trading and below are a list of some subjects I want to do/have to do as part of my study plan. Is there any subjects I should replace in this list? Is there anything I should change? Thanks!

Have to do:
Physical Modeling
Mathematics 1
Mathematics 2

Have to do:
Introduction to Electrical and Electronic Engineering
Programming 1

Electives:
Fundamentals of C Programming
Data Structures and Algorithms
Optimisation
Electronics and Circuits
Linear Algebra
Stochastic Processes and Financial Mathematics
Data Systems
Vector Calculus and Partial Differential Equations
Numerical Methods
Probability and Random Variables
Mathematical Statistics

Advanced Minor Electives:
Real-Time Operating Systems
Computer Architecture
Programming Languages and Compilers or Signals and Systems
Computer Networks and Applications

Electives (Business - Finance Major):
Time Series Econometrics
Applied Portfolio Management
Derivative Securities

Solid course choices. Unless you want to delve into high frequency trading and how such system work, some of the computing electives can be done without.
Same with the elective courses.
Make sure you have good grades on all the math courses required by quant programs (cal 1-3, linear algebra, probability, stochastic cal, etc).
Make sure you are really good with C++/Python/database.
