Hey Guys,

I think your first question should be to ask yourself what do you bring to the table that makes you standout for a trading internship. I say forget Resume/CV as your focus, everyone and their mom takes that approach. I suggest think outside the box my friend get creative. GL

I got mine through online application, so Resume/CV does matter. but you need something that sets you apart from all the other 3.8-4.0 GPA students with extra curricular.
Beyond that, networking and demonstrating rabid interest in markets will help. I would try cold calling traders in the afternoons to try to get an informational interview. After market close is best, never call in the morning.

thanks for the advice to guys

Np, At the end of day it basically is whether or not you can stand out. I went to a non-target school, has a GPA way below 3.8-4.0 and had an undergrad degree in software engineering. Because I spent time during my undergrad learning about finance, investing and money management on my own time plus writing up professional stock reports and sending those out with my resume/CV. I believe that is what help me the most. I did not focus on Resume/CV my focus was on strong my interest and how I expressed it, networking is a big part also. Btw I am not a trading intern, I am intern analyst that works with traders either way I probably beat out people with 3.8-4.0 GPA, target schools and who has finance, math or CS backgrounds. Hence I believe it is how you stand out.
