Hi, all. I just joined the site and this is my first thread.

I've been admitted to both UCB's and UCLA's MFE programs. Could anyone please elaborate on the strength and weakness of each program? Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

I just finished my B.A. in Economics at NYU, and don't have any experience working in finance.

Go to UCB ... recruiting at UCB has historically been better than UCLA. Career services at UCB is top-notch not sure about UCLA. Brand name: UCB > UCLA. Location is similar. Curriculum at UCB has been tested during the years to work. UCLA is relatively new. Seems like a no brainer if you weren't offered scholarships ...
