This is an interesting point, probably true. I haven't seen any active channel from people currently working in trading or any other roles.

@achirikhin has his quant profession course. He is new to QN but knows people who've been on here longer. However, the course isn't free.

Indeed, Quantitative Analyst, Developer, Strat: The Profession is exactly that. The course is entirely lecture-based, and nearly 4 hours out of 16 are free, including a case study of Numerix.

The full course is not free, but the student price is £149, which is the cost of two quant finance textbooks. Super bargain given the contents.
