What is the hour of a typical quant job?

Is it like the normal investment banking hours like 100 hr per week?

I'm not an expert, since I've never worked as a quant, but I understand that most quants are linked to a trading desk. So you would probably work market hours plus a few hours before/after the market opens/closes.

Hours varies between job functions, groups and products but they are not as long as in IB.
