What's the difference between "Enroll" and "Register" for the courses?

I'm wanting to take the C++ Programming for Financial Engineering course. What's the difference between "Enroll" and "Register?" Do I register first then enroll?
Enroll will start your course immediately. Register is to pre Register for a future date; it's informal and you'll still need to enroll on that that.

@Andy Nguyen, can you make this more clear on the course page?
