Where to look for quant jobs?

Well, I am new in Toronto, Canada.
I am looking for jobs in quant (but i dont want to go through agents), but not familiar with Canadian culture.

I have been looking jobs in indeed, monster & workopolis. But, it seems that they're just repeating jobs and i found many jobs are not there if i choose to go to some companies individually.

Any idea to look google some investment companies or hedge funds? But, their website usually don't have "career" section. Where to find those?

As a newcomer in a new country, this method would have a slim chance.
But, are you saying those hedge fund & investment banks don`t adverstise their jobs on a career page
