Perhaps it is redundant to ask this on a site that delivers the course, but I was wondering if the course would be suitable for me, given my background and stage in academic career. I will be beginning my third year of undergraduate maths and statistics in March (southern hemisphere semesters) and I have some experience in Matlab and C in scientific contexts (differential equations, linear algebra and matrices) as well as some brief exposure to methods like the MCMC (Monte Carlo Markov chain) method, and R for statistics. I am considering MFEs or PhDs after my fourth year (my course is 4 years incl honours).
Would now be a suitable time to get the C++ certificate or should I place my time more wisely elsewhere? (I have about 2 months in the summer which is 'free', at the moment). Thanks!
