Are you asking a question or marketing your school? Ntu is very well recognized in Asia and around the world. It's ranked well globally

The program is a joke with a price tag of $55,800. What are the employment options ? Distinguishing factor ? Nil!
The class will be filled with mainland chinese students who have just hit their puberty with zero skills and another foxconn factory.

Hi Philip, you are sounding like a reject from NTU MFE.

I met them at postgrad fare on 10th Sep, programme sounds promising. Their fee for locals is just $28,000, for Singapore PR its $33,000 & for International students its $41,900. Class has an average work experience of 3.5 years with diversity from 6 nationalities.

They have good industry standing with Alumni all over in Banking & Finance. Programme is soon completing 20. On placements past years records appear good too....60% generally are placed by graduation date remaining within 3-4 months.

Believe they get a lot of applications and experienced professionals are given more weightage. Applicants with strong Quant or Engineering background with relevant experience have more chances.

Fairs are marketing stunt and I would discount any intrinsic value it propose. At $41K you can get a much better education at lower first tier programs like University of Chicago Fin Maths or even a free education at EPFL if you make the cut. NTU is eclipsed by NUS in Singapore and their FE grads work at IBM & other run of the mill places perhaps an Ecole poly/DEA grad have a better shot at real quant jobs at singapore than these programs. Moreover, some of the program faculties have an MSc/Mcom as higest education. Also, adding a 7 weeks @ CMU is a desperate attempt to gain credility or a feel good factor for the $41K spending spree.
