Hello everyone,

I was supposed to start a Computational Finance MSc at UCL London this September 2020. But due to the pandemic, my course will start online so I decided to defer my entry to 2021. My question is: What should I do during this year in order to improve my curriculum before I start my masters degree? I have thought on some certificates or even some work experience (I only have internship experience) but since I studied Mechanical Engineering it would be hard to find a job related to my future masters degree.

I would appreciate any advice!!!!

You can do the CQF certification. It has 6 modules, if I remember correctly, all in quantitative finance.

It's kind of the CFA for quants, and only takes 6 months to complete.
