CMU MSCF Will the 1st round be relatively less competitive?

hello, guys.

I am applying for the cmu mscf and mit mfin

I am still working full-time and quite busy, also preparing for my cfa test in December. So I'm afraid that I might not have enough time to prepare for the interview.

should I apply the 1st round?

probably want to make sure you get an interview first before worrying about it, but it's nothing to worry about
