Will VBA be replaced?

I know that VBA and Excel are still used a lot in finance, especially for reporting purpose (like risk reports).

I was just wondering if learning VBA and studying it hard is worth it?

Will VBA continue to be used in finance or replaced by some other "better" and "faster" languages?

IMO it will be...when Excel is replaced.

Honestly I can see about 5-10 years in the future when Google sheets beat out Excel and have their own JavaScript based scripting language that drives it...

But for now in finance if the job you are vying for has any Excel reporting at all, VBA is a really useful skill (and for my current team mandatory) to have.
