Hi everyone,
I am a senior at Florida State University graduating in Spring 2014 with a Bachelor's in Applied/Computational Mathematics. I am planning on applying to various schools offering a Master's in Financial Engineering/Mathematics. I am worried because I do not have any relevant work experience at all since I was always enrolled in classes during the summer. My wish is to get into a solid top 20 program. My details:
-Undergrad GPA: 3.70
-GRE 161 Q/154 V
-Programming experience with C++
-Extensive courses in Linear Algebra, Calculus, PDEs, ODEs, Statistics, and others.
I would really appreciate any honest advise and opinion.
Thank you.

I'm not sure about the admission chance because that's really up to the administration of each universities and probably a bit of luck. But what I can say for sure is that, you seem to have almost perfect background to start studying financial engineering. I'm actually saying this because I'm jealous of you. I wish I studied those before starting my MSFE program. Good luck anyway.

ps: do study some probability theory before you start MSFE if you actually get the admission
