hey guys, I came across some problems about the application of CFRM in U of Washington. here is the thing.

there seems no clue that indicates any requirement of its statement of purpose. is that true or just that i missed something?

i hope someone could shed some light on that

thank you....

I think it has to be a general statement (Area of interest, motivation, future plans).. Atleast I wrote it that way.. Rest Can't say

11 fonts, no more than 1 page.

In terms of contents, there is no specific requirement.

I think you'll get a better answer if you email the admission dept there.

Good morning everyone,
I work with Bill and am the Graduate Program Advisor for the CFRM program.
The Statement of Purpose is intentionally left open-ended because we don't want to constrict what our applicants have to say.

So feel free to write about why you want to join the CFRM program, what your academic or life goals are (and how CFRM will help get you there), what you will bring to the program/department/university, etc. Get creative! All that we ask is that you try to limit your Statement of Purpose to one (double or single spaced) page, as another poster mentioned.

If you have additional questions, feel free to email me at compfin [at] uw [.] edu.
Thanks,
Laurie
