Hi!
My name's Gustavo and I'm new to the forum.
I want to be a trader, but an individual one. I'd like to work at home, researching and developing trading strategies on my own. Yet, I work in a completely different area, so trading is going to be a secondary job. I know that is very competitive field and I don't dream about earning fortunes.
Which is the necessary background in order to become an individual trader?
I intend to graduate in computational mathematics and apply for a MFE or similar program then.
Is that enough knowledge to accomplish my goal?
Thanks for the attention!
Gustavo
P.S.: I'm sorry for the bad english! It's not my native language.
