I am currently a third-year undergraduate in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, enrolled in its B.Tech. Manufacturing Science and Engineering programme at IIT Kharagpur. My current CGPA is 8.37/10. As of now, I don’t have any experience in finance, neither professional nor academic, but I do have a strong interest. I would like to work at the intersection of programming and finance. I have taken up courses on advanced calculus, linear algebra, probability, and machine learning. I have also secured a corporate internship for this summer(2023) as an sde/swe.
After going through posts on the forum I am pretty much confused on whether to go for a MFE or not. Also financing the course is one of the major concerns for me. If anyone can guide me through the process would be very helpful.
