Are FE undergrads demanded in the market?

I realize that more and more school are offering BS in Financial Engineering or something similar.

I'm just curious, can they perform the different jobs given to MFE degree holders?

what do you think of such degrees?

investment banks in India hire lot of students from this undergraduate program http://www.iitg.ernet.in/maths/acads/btech.php mostly for quant developer positions.
