Could anyone give me some suggestion on how to choose between the Financial Mathematics at Johns Hopkins and Mathematical Finance at Boston University ?

Mathematical Finance at Boston University is ranked higher at Quantnet. I heard the placement is OK. Being in Business School it suppose to have good networking with the industry.

Johns Hopkins is a great school, its Financial Mathematics is a new brand(less than 5 years I guess?) but developed quite fast( began to be ranked top 20 the first time last year). But I don't know how will Quantnet ranks it this year.
Financial Mathematics @ JHU is in its engineering college, so I concern how good the career service could be, in the area of finance

In terms of finding a job, is JHU in a big disadvantage ?

Financial Mathematics @ JHU is in its engineering college, and the program director's research has nothing to do with finance. So I concern how good the career service could be.

Where did you hear that "BU's placement is OK"?

Because my friend graduated from this program found a job and stay in US. And he says positive about this program.
That's what I heard.
Could you tell me what do you know about it.

Thanks.
I just heard back from friend at JHU that they think their placement should be better than BU.
Do you have any information about JHU's placement
