I currently do Physics at warwick and i’m in second year but I don’t know how to code at all. I’m on the masters program but I find the course hard so i don’t know if im cut out to do quant. I have a trading internship for next year so should I just pursue that then try to be a quant later in my career?

Learn Python and C++.
Learn at much as you can on your internship so you can determine if this is what you enjoy and excel at.
In the meantime, read and learn as much as you can about the industry, technical skills, etc.
Just find something you are really good at and keep at it.

For Physics, is Fortran not a standard? It's a good way to get started. Quant work is very mathsy/numerical, so Fortran is ideal.
The sooner you learn to program, the better.

At some stage, C++ is important.
