Hey there.
I am currently young (after next year will be going to university). I had a few questions regarding academic choices for this career, and career questions in general.
Would someone find quant too boring to enjoy, and start dreading their work? I found it interesting because it overlaps the use of machine learning, maths, and finance which I am keen in. I was originally going to go into machine learning / software as I will do a comp sci degree.

I was also wondering, is there anything that I should know now ( as early as possible) if I want to follow this path. Things that knowing earlier is better. I know for finance jobs in general networking is a massive thing to do. Should I start properly networking now? Or just focus on studies and deepening what I know.

Thanks, Swiftal
