I study BSc in Business Administration and Management Science i Denmark. I am about to start on my 3rd year. After my bachelor I am going to take the master and maybe another 1-year master program on a elite business school. If I complete the study within expected time I will be 24 (and having 2 masters).

I would like to start my career with consulting and hopefully in MBB. Work there for a couple of years and then moving into a line of business with more settlement.

Since i like math and already have taken courses like linear algebra, differential equations, statistics & probability, math analytics and computer science (C++). I think it would be obvious to go into the quant-section.

My question is, can I start as a consultant within the quant field and later on become a "real" quant? And how are the career path, what sort of hierarchy is in the quant field?
