Chicago MSFM Chicago MSFM Admission Discussion

By this time last year, there were two rounds of interview invites - once on 9th feb and other on 16th feb (coincidentally both fridays).
There has been none this time around. Did anyone attend the recent session conducted by MSFM team?

If you're referring to past trackers, those are likely to be the video portfolio that applicants submitted as a part of their applications.

I was confused as well but it seems like the interviews from UChicago in the tracker are for masters in finance and not the fin math program

Last year they gave some results on 9th, 16th and 23rd feb (all fridays). So maybe today could be the first batch of results.

Here they come !!!

Yes, we expect to begin releasing decisions starting this week and will continue to do so through the end of March! Hope this helps the nerves :)
Hi Meredith, I submitted the application before R1 deadline but one LOR arrived after 10 days, will it be considered for R1 or R2 ?

Any idea whether the results declared by Chicago are in batches of result status i.e. 1st batch only those accepted, 2nd batch- waitlisted… and so on? or is it based who submission of application timeline?

Last time they released accepted candidate’s results in atleast 3 batches and most probably 4 batches for R1.

Got in too..3 out of 3 have a rather difficult choice to make between Gatech(affordable) vs UChicago without any scholarship.. any advise is most welcome.
I am trying to figure out whether Chicago or New York is the better market

Congratulations to everyone with an admit from Chicago. You guys have collectively received a $436,550 in scholarship amount so far, with $28,350 min, $47,250 max and $36,380 average.
This is an amazing achievement and a huge statement of the high calibre of our members.
The numbers will grow as more people receive admission and scholarship. I'll do a tally follow up.
