Does anyone have a deadline next week to accept the admission? I think it was one week for the guys who got it around 5th. I guess we can expect admits/rejects on Monday/Tuesday
I got the acceptance in the last batch and they gave me 2 weeks

it should look like this...

Current Status

Your application has been moved to review with the Faculty Committee. The Office of Graduate Admissions cannot give you an estimate on when you will receive your admission decision, but we want you to know that your application will receive careful consideration by the Faculty Committee. Decisions will be made on an ongoing basis and you will be notified via email when a decision has been made.

In the meantime, please continue to keep an eye on your application checklist. Any outstanding materials will be indicated with an "X".
I received this last week as well. Not sure when but I had it when I checked Friday and it was there. Any idea what it means? Apologies if this is too repetitive

So far it just means that your application is being considered. Everyone who has received an acceptance first had this message, but just because you have the message doesn’t mean you’ll be accepted.

Anecdotally, people say if you see this message disappear that indicates your decision is being sent out that day

Thanks for the explanation ofc this is just speculation, but do we know general timeline? As in, how long should you expect to be waiting between getting this message and a decision

Nobody knows. A few got an answer in 2 weeks and some have had that status up for 2+ months and are still waiting for an answer.
Guess we’ve got some waiting to do. Hopefully this is still a positive sign and we’ll hear back when deadlines for this last round of acceptance passes

Anyone knows the chance of getting into the second option after being rejected by MFE? I don't even have the current status for MFE

It makes some sense though, Columbia has 1 huge batch while others break it into 2-4 rounds so its going to take them longer to get through the pile of applications.
Yes, that is true. But programs with 2 or 3 rounds of applications have released most of their decisions if not all, while most of us are sitting here not knowing anything idea what's going on. Also, the program website says that decisions will come by the end of March, and we are more than 2 weeks in April. I think the least the program can do is give us an update and a timeline. A lot of people are just held up in this situation.

just received an email:

"Unfortunately, we are unable to provide an exact date of when your application decision will be available nor can we expedite the application review process. Applications are reviewed by a small admissions committee, and therefore, this process may take up to several months. Be assured, you will be notified of the result of your application review as soon as possible."

Yeah, boilerplate reply that they send to anyone who asks for an update. I received the same when I asked a couple of weeks ago.

NO
I think for me it's might be a silent reject since they might already sent most of the decisions

That's not the case. I haven't seen any rejections (I've seen one person saying they got a rejection a few weeks ago but I see no evidence and no other rejections, so it might be a troll), and many are still waiting to hear back from this program.

You could argue that those who haven't seen the current status or hear back from the program got a silent rejection, but who knows.

Saw someone said IEOR will make all decisions next Wednesday (Apr.24) on a Chinese Social Media Platform

Might not be true though

that is so fake. IEOR doesn't even share the same admissions team. It would be very weird if they actually do something like that, especially given that programs list different timelines on the website.
