Why are most people disinterested in joining columbia MFE ? Has the program dropped in ratings? Or has the program been on a decline in the last couple of years?

I think a lot of the similar caliber programs like UChicago, NYU and CMU offering scholarships in addition to the crazy COL in NYC nowadays is probably a big factor.

yeah ofc, I’m probably taking princeton now but even if I didn’t get admitted i would probably take uchicago with scholarship over columbia

Do they send out offers today?

Where did you see that? Is there a tracker/forum? Personally don't think they shouldn't be sending out offers on weekends...

I am currently in the MFE program, got accepted 2022. I got my acceptance letter by the end of April.
