I have got AD from two programs. The deadline for CU MSOR is April 11th, so I need to make the decision asap. I want to know the pros and cons of these two programs. I'm looking for your suggestions. Thank you!

I think it's that time of year when MSOR is sending out acceptances to the redirects and no one really wants to go. As I said in another thread, this is very simple:

Question: Do you know what you want to do in your career (general direction)?
- If you know, and it is finance related, then MSMF is the choice.
- If you know, and it is not finance related, then see if MSOR's flexible courses has what you want
- If you don't know quite clear what you want, then MSMF will prepare you with very wide ranged but in-depth courses and will help you out regardless of the preference. It is very easy to get lost in MSOR's various electives, and come out without a main focus.

1.Brand name - Columbia > BU
2.City - NYC > Boston (NYC is bigger and has more options... I think Boston is more asset management focussed?)
3.Program quality - Columbia > BU (from my research (just don't get "lost in MSOR's various electives" I guess... ))
4.Exit opportunities - Columbia > BU
5.Community network - Columbia > BU
6.Snow - BU > Columbia

4.Exit opportunities - Columbia > BU
5.Community network - Columbia > BU
6.Snow - BU > Columbia
I like the sixth reason!
