Sorry for the confusion, I believe you misunderstood the meaning of my post. I was asking who was the person behind "Leroy", not who the quantnet character "Leroy" himself is. But this is getting too metaphysical and I see now how my initial post was ambiguous.

I had no intention to highjack the thread. I will not post further inquiries concerning "Leroy".
 
I think that this thread is serving no purpose, and this thread either ought to be locked or deleted.

Just my opinion.
