Currently working in a Quant Risk type of role. Thinking about doing the FRM exam as I have noticed some of my peers are doing it. Was wondering given I have a master's degree in the field, which covered the FRM material in our risk management courses, would there be any benefit to doing the FRM? Or is it more of a "economic signaling" type deal? Our risk manager doesn't have the FRM, so I don't think it would help with inter-firm progression, but would it improve perception by recruiters/hiring managers?
