Which would be the most efficient way to being a quant? Also, how do you get into the GT program?

Got accepted to QCF 2017 fall so got the chance to talk to Laura who is the academic manager of the program. Also got the chance to talk to some students in class 2015, who just graduate from the program. To me it seems that the program has a solid placement record, more than half of the graduates having found quant jobs locally and in SF and Chicago. Curriculum seems nice and very practical, focus alot on programming I heard. Hope it helps.
