Hey everyone,

I stumbled upon this forum a couple of weeks ago and i really enjoyed reading some of the threads here. They have been really useful and informative to me. I am a EE undergrad who got into the technology summer analyst program at goldman. I feel that i am more of a math and analytic person rather than a hard-coder. I always wanted to do a quant role in either trading or modelling and I am not sure if it is easy to transit from a technology internship role to a full time job in quant roles. Anyone has been in a similar situation before ? (technology in bank to quant)

I worked in Nomura Technology Division initially... then switched into Prop Trading firm. And this year am joining Columbia MFE.

And am also an Electrical and Electronics engineer academically...
