Help with SOP

Hello all,

I am trying to start on SOP, but I am not quite sure what they look for. Should it be a story on how I got interested in FE? Should it be more about my technical abilities? Also, I notice that a lot of schools do not state the length of the SOP. Does it mean that the length does not matter as long as it answers all the questions?

Just answer the questions. Each program asks different question and has specifications on length. If they don't specify length, keep it short and on topic. The longer you write, the more chance you have to make mistakes and ramble on.
