How to write SOP???!!

I wanted to know what is the best way to write SOP essays, do they need to be in some story format or should I stick to plain facts?
How do I make sure that the AdCom reads the entire SOP before making a decision?

Any help would be appreciated.

Each program will have their own format, theme, questions for you to address in your SOP.
Essentially, you want to convincingly tell a story about yourself, your understand of the industry, the program and how it will perfectly prepare you for the future role.
It's a love letter showing how you and the program are perfectly matched for each other.

Some caveats: admission people read thousands of these a year so if you haven't done your research on the industry, the program, it will be painfully obvious to them. Make sure you do a lot of research, read the review, contact the alumni, read past posts from QuantNet members.
They want candidates that are well prepared and well researched.
