Important prerequisites required for MFE

Hello everyone! I am an undergraduate student from Mechanical engineering and have been admitted to nyu Tandon and gatech for MFE and QCF respectively for Fall 2020. I would like to know any skills I can master in this time now as being from Mechanical engineering I don't have prior experience into Finance. Any insights regarding this would help a lot! Thank you!
