I understand it will most likely vary from firm to firm, but I was wondering, in general, is the first test automatically sent to all candidates who apply, or do only certain candidates receive the initial test?
"After reviewing your application, we’ll send you two online tests to complete – the first is a 22-minute mental math test and the second is an online coding challenge that can be taken in either Python or C++."

If anyone knows whether certain firms send the initial screening to all candidates or only certain ones that would be helpful as well.
