I noticed that only Stanfod requires real analysis.
Is this an important requirement for other MFin programs ? say Baruch or Columbia...

Should I really take it ?

And, is this a typical Real Analysis course description ?:

"Rigorous introduction to functions of a real variable. Topics include real numbers and the completeness property; limits of sequences; elementary topological concepts; continuity and uniform continuity; sequences and series of functions, derivatives; Taylor's Theorem; the Riemann integral."

?

Thanks,
Roni.

In the Baruch MFE program you study real analysis in the first first part of the MTH 9831 Real Analysis and Probability course in the first semester of study.

The description above is for an Advanced Calculus course, not a Real Analysis one.

I see, looks like it's just an optional class that I can take...
Will take it only if I have time/money :\

Thank you very much, professor.
