Job or Internship

Hi Folks. I just graduated (as an undergrad) from UC Berkeley with a BioEngineering degree. I have taken some CS, Finance, Stats courses and developed an interest in quantitative trading. I have no prior internship experience in this area.

Should I look to find an internship or job in this area?

Since I have no real finance experience, should I be open to getting an internship/job in any area of finance and not restrict myself to a quant job?

Since I graduated in December, are there internship opportunities available from January - May?

What firms should I be applying to?

Thanks for the help guys.
