hi,

Have you guys any view about Malardalen University, sweden which offers MS in financial engineering? is this university good for finacial engineering course and job offer thereafter?
thanks

The problem I see is that I don't know of any quant firms in Sweden. Looking at this ranking of Swedish universities overall (Here), Malardalen is 15th in Sweden and 1025th in the world.

Here is a link to the topic of European FE programs on Wilmott (Here), which basically puts the best FE programs in the UK.

I think the biggest issue is proximity to financial centers.

agree, proximity to financial centers is the most crucial one. never heard of any big news coming from Sweden regarding financial things.

Never heard of Malardalen. If you want to study in Sweden then there are 2 good Unis which offer master degree with specialization in financial mathematics - KTH and Stockholm University - both are very well respected Unis, especially KTH's math department. If you want to focus on computational science in generall without studying some finance in particular you can look at Chalmers too.
