Hi,

I was browsing through some school major & concentrations sections and saw that some schools offer a Math/CS BA. I was wondering if that would be better preparation for a MFE program or if a straight Math BA with some CS and Finance electives would be better.

As far as MFE pre-admission is concerned, it doesn't matter the name of your degree as long as you have enough math and computer science courses. It's up to your personal preference to take the pre-packaged combined program for less time or take a full math degree in addition to CS courses.
When they go through your application, they will go through all the courses on your transcripts, not by the name of your degree.
