Hi,

I have given my gre and have a fairly low gre verbal.
verbal = 370
Quant = 800
AWA = 3

I have planned to retake the gre and apply for the MFE program. I have no finance experience. Could anyone suggest me what could be a safe GRE score to aim so as to clear this criterion?

Thanks

I know someone who got into Columbia MSFE with similar grades, actually, he didn't even ace the quant part (he got 790 or something). He already graduated and he is working in Stamford, lol...
He didn't have any work experience after graduation either.
He started the program in 2008. And, I don't know if it matters but it was during the peak of the financial crisis.

I suggest you wait for more professional opinions :\

Thanks Roni. That's encouraging, anyways I have planned my GRE just hoping to do well. I heard the verbal requirement is also quite high for MFE programs..is it so??
