Technology Duties:

* Monitor and maintain (from a technology standpoint), as part of a

team, the "core" architecture, external connectivity and trading

strategies in a dynamic, high-pressure, real-time environment.

* Communicate and interact with external exchanges and trading

platforms to cancel orders and status fills when technical problems

arise

* Design and code programs to automate system operations, simplify

real-time analysis and monitoring. Utilize system profiling tools

utilizing such as perl and bash.

* Run operational procedures such as starting the session, bouncing

and upgrading applications, connecting to venues, configuring new

instruments and installing trading strategies.

* Organize and coordinate transitional changes conducted in

operating datacenters, including hardware upgrades, server

placement, networking, and providing scripts to transparently move

proprietary applications between sites.

* Working knowledge of linux. Ability to troubleshoot connectivity

problems. Understanding of UDP, TCP

* Passion for investigating networking issues for latency sensitive

(millisecond to microsecond) trading applications (market data and

order entry) for various electronic trading platforms

* High level of Personal Responsibility a must

* Modesty and willingness to ask questions / escalate issues not

understood a must
