I guess we have been secretly put on the waitlist and the school is waiting to see the reactions of the people they admitted to decide whether there is available slot to give out..

but i really dont believe that they havn't yet finished reviewing the applications!! I submitted my application in early Jan and it's MAY now!!

i'm in the same boat guys, no one ever told me anything about my application i know a lot of people have been accepted so far, but i don't know whether official rejections were sent out yet

If you don't have an admit by now, your rejection letter is on the way. NYU MSMF program doesn't email rejection. The graduate admission office will postal mail them so it will take a bit for snail mail to reach everyone.

Anyone knows when NYU will send out the admissions. Deadline for CMU round 1 is approaching... Still haven't heard anything back from NYU....

You should send them an email requesting an early decision. This is stated on their website. They can speed-up the process but will not commit to send you the decision before your offer's deadline. They will ask for a copy of your offer letter.

Last year, admit emails started coming out the first week of March. Look for the same thing this year. Some admits should show up on the Tracker this week.

Most NYU decisions will come out on end of March, beginning of April. If you want earlier result, contact them.

I sent them an email to request a result before March 8, which is the deadline to reply Chicago University, and they said they will try to accelerate my review process. However, I have not heard from them yet. I have declined Chicago after I received the AD from Columbia. Do you think I should send them another email?
I noticed that NYU started to send out the admissions on March 1 last year. Why is there a delay this year?
