New York University - MS in Mathematics in Finance

NYU MSMF NYU Mathematics in Finance Admission Results

There are about 6 guys on GD who have heard from NYU yesterday. I think you wouldn't have to wait much longer now.

I still haven't heard anything from them.
Anyone with me?
Or should I keep waiting with some hope?

i am also waiting....
it has been a long time and i dont know what to expect from them.
it is quite frustrating because i dont know if i should have my hopes up at this point.

i think they send out emails.

for us to be not given rejections at this point, we might have passed their grade filtering system.
however, i am not overly optimistic either.

around early january for me.

it is true that admits are sent much earlier than rejects?

Just make sure your file is complete and not sitting in a blackhole somewhere. Many who have not kept up with communication are in for a surprise when they find out their file is missing GRE or some other documents.

If you don't hear something, email them and ask. Don't ask on this forum.

Yes I am as well... but I sent part-time application. Anyone else know when I can expect to hear back?

If we need to reply somewhere else (Columbia) what's the best modus operandi?

I sent them an email last week telling them about Columbia. They told me they would try to reply soon, but didn't want to make any promisses.

Thanks for the info. I'm choosing Columbia anyways. I'm just curious to see if I would have had a choice.....
