OPT Period/Employment

Does anyone have experience with being employed via the OPT program? Are employers willing to hire students who have just graduated and are using their OPT? Further, if the OPT period is successful, are companies at that point willing to issue a visa to continue employment? Of course these aren't cut and dry, but if anyone has experience using their OPT, a response would be greatly appreciated.

That should be possible. There are lot of foreign students in the industry.
