Phd in Finance in the Hedge Fund World

Hi guys,
I would like to know something about the career path in the Hedge Fund with a Phd in Finance (career progression, salary, opportunities)

Good question. I'm doing PhD Finance with major focus on Hedge Funds (Statistics and Fin Econometrics). I was offered a position (junior inv analyst) at a HF in London, which started at £26k (that was a year ago (2015) after my MSc). PhD will set u apart from MSc's but don't expect fortune on the beginning (senior HF analysts in London get between £50k-90k+).
