Hello,

I am currently a final year student(graduating in may 2010) and want to pursue MFE from a good university in US or UK(only from top 5).

I will be applying for few universities this year but I am not sure if i will get into them because of my gre score(800(Q) 400(V)). My plan b is to give GRE again and work under a finance professor in my university for one year and then apply for 2011 batch.

I would request you guys to please advise me how should I invest my time to enhance my chances for 2011 admission? Should I work under a finance professor or try to gain some relevant quant experience somewhere else?

Any help will be highly appreciated.
