Quant or Technology Management?

Hi, I have been a quant developer for a few years and recently got a chance to move into front office quant in a mid tier Bank but at the same time I was also offered a position as VP in Market Technology (Project manager in Risk Tech) at a BB. The pay scale is quite similar. Can someone offer some suggestion?
