quick question everyone

i would like to learn how to use sql from scratch but do not know of any good online resources or where to download the program from. any help would be greatly appreciated. on a side note do you think sql is helpful in engineering?

I hate it when people put ambiguous subject lines like "Quick question everyone" ! The point of a subject line is so that people see a preview of what you want to ask. Putting "quick question everyone" is like putting nothing at all. It gives no information. It is like the filtration of a Brownian motion at time zero. Next time I'm not clicking.
