If you are offered more than one date for an interview always pick the soonest
A thing many candidates get wrong is that they fail to show they are keen for this job. Simply showing this increases your chances noticeably and given that as a candidate you get to make relatively few of the decisions, you should choose the one that makes you look more interested.
People that find you interesting are people you find interesting, applies as much to job hunting as it does to dating.
The way recruiting works at a lot of places is they schedule interviews for as many as they think fit the profile and can spare the time. Most resent the time interviews suck up and have other work to do, so often they will reach a point of having enough plausible people and go forward with them. That means later people get their interviews cancelled.
Also, interviews get cancelled because of managers getting called away, if you’re later in the cycle there may not be time to schedule another, so you get lost in the machine.
So go for the earlier slot.
