Hi there,

I just did my GMAT and to my surprise (and agony), I didn't do well for my Verbal and Essay.

So should I:
(1) Re-take GMAT, get a better score, and then apply for MFE; or
(2) Take GRE instead, hopefully get a good score, and then apply for MFE; or
(3) Apply anyway and pray that I will get in or at least be put on the waiting list?

And on point (3), does it mean that if you've been put on the waiting list, you will stand a high chance to get in in then next 1-2 years?

I need your advice guys.

Don't most programs accept GRE only ?
Also, I know someone who got into a good program with poor results in writing and verbal but good results in the quant part (790 I think). But, he took the GRE.

And on point (3), does it mean that if you've been put on the waiting list, you will stand a high chance to get in in then next 1-2 years?

Interesting question, would also like to hear opinions on this concern.

Retake GRE, and apply next year. You area already working so there is no financial pressure to give up income for one year.

Thanks Andy...but why do I have to wait one year? Can't I take GRE next month and apply before the March 2011 deadline?
